White River Valley Historical Quarterly – Volume 1, Number 4, Summer 1962

Director RUBY ROBINS and her husband, Fred, published the Ozark County Times at Gainesville. Regarded as one of the best authorities on Missouri History, she performed the research and designed the inscriptions on some 130 markers for the State Historical Society of Missouri.

GAINESVILLE - Mrs. Ruby Robins, Gainesville, a retired publisher, died at 9:30 a.m. Friday [8/6/99] in Gainesville Healthcare Center.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday [8/10/99] in Clinkingbeard Funeral Home with burial at 2 p.m. Wednesday [8/11/99] in Macon City Cemetery, Macon.

Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
